Kawasaki Assist

Whether you've run out of fuel, lost your keys, had a puncture or encountered mechanical or electrical failure which has immobilised your motorcycle, you can rely on the high level of roadside assistance you would expect from RAC.

Kawasaki Roadside Assistance

Kawasaki provide a complimentary one year Roadside Assistance package provided by RAC for your motorcycle.

As the owner of a new Kawasaki you can enjoy the benefits of RAC services for you and anyone else riding your motorcycle with your permission.

Whether you've run out of fuel, lost your keys, had a puncture or encountered mechanical or electrical failure which has immobilised your motorcycle, you can rely on the high level of roadside assistance you would expect from RAC.

This includes:

  • Cover at home
  • Roadside and recovery
  • Onward travel
  • Using specialist motorcycle trailers and loaders
  • Help is just a phone call away, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Service In The UK

Roadside

If you are stranded on a public highway (or other accessible road or area to which the public has the right of access) as a result of a breakdown to your motorcycle, we will arrange for a contractor to assist you who will try to repair the motorcycle at the roadside.

Roadside includes labour at the scene of the breakdown but not labour at any garage to which the motorcycle is taken.

If the motorcycle cannot be repaired at the roadside, or if repairs are unwise, we will arrange for the motorcycle and up to 3 people to be taken to an authorised Kawasaki dealer of your choice. If you have no preferred authorised Kawasaki dealer, we will arrange for the motorcycle to be taken to the nearest authorised Kawasaki dealer. If you wish the motorcycle to be taken to any other destination we will use reasonable endeavours to assist if you pay for the towage costs for the whole distance.

If you cannot readily get to the motorcycle, we will arrange, if practicable, to have it transported to a place of safety and stored until you can collect it. The customer must be in attendance with the motorcycle at the time of breakdown and at the time of assistance. If the motorcycle is stored, this is at the customer's cost.


Recovery

Recovery has the same features and limitations as Roadside but with the following variations: Recovery operates only in the United Kingdom.

If we cannot arrange for the motorcycle to be repaired locally within a reasonable time, we will arrange for the motorcycle and up to 3 people to be taken to an authorised Kawasaki dealer or to any other single address. An adult must accompany any persons under the age of 16. Residents of Northern Ireland are also entitled to be recovered from the Republic of Ireland.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and their finance products which may have different interest rates and charges. We are not an independent financial advisor. We will provide details of products available from the lenders with whom we work, but no advice or recommendation will be made. You must decide whether the finance product is right for you. PCP and HP finance Generally we offer two types of finance products, straight forward Hire Purchase (HP) or Personal Contract Purchase (PCP). Both products offer a rate of interest fixed at the outset as well as fixed monthly payments through the term of the loan. PCP agreements tend to have significantly lower monthly payments but with a substantial balloon payment at the end of the term. You will generally pay more interest in total with a PCP as the capital is not being paid back as quickly as with an HP agreement. More detailed summary of PCP and HP agreements Fees charged and commission payable We do not charge you a fee for our services. Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will receive a commission from them (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow). If you wish to know how much commission we will earn from your finance please ask the salesperson arranging the loan. The lenders we work with could pay commission at different rates. However, the amount of commission we receive from a lender does not have an effect on the amount you pay to that lender under your credit agreement. Where the lender varies the interest rate according to your credit score or the vehicle details this also does not affect the amount of commission we receive. We can not vary the interest rate, only the finance company can do this. GDPR and data protection In order for you to apply for finance through us we must collect data about you and your circumstances. This data is passed on to our lenders who will come to a decision based upon your status, the questions on their application and credit information held by a credit reference agency. As a result, credit check records may appear on your credit file. The lender’s decision may be to accept your proposal as per our quote, to conditionally accept it upon varying some criteria, e.g., the term, the deposit, or the interest rate, or they may decline the application. We can not guarantee that we can secure finance for you, or that we can get particular terms for you. Any quote from us will be made using the details that you provide about your credit score. The final outcome can only be determined by making an application. The finance company (lender) will have the final say in this respect.
